How to Make a Funky Fleece Hat

This is a cute hat – you can use an old sweatshirt as long as it has big enough armholes.  Cut off the sleeves and turn them both into winter hats!

Instructions:

1. Cut a sleeve off an old sweatshirt.
2. Make a brim by rolling up the large end.
3. Cut off the cuff around the wrist and cut fringes up the sleeve so the main part still covers your head.
4. Randomly tie slits together in double knots. Not all the slits need to be tied, some can just hang down.  You can also use a hair elastic to gather the top together.
